Twisted Betrayal by Siobhan Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 stars
Impressive again!
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Siobhan Davis is exceptionally talented and I love everything she writes and this book was no different.
Again, there will be no major spoilers but proceed with caution.
The story kicks off right from where Cruel Intentions ended. Abby is doped up in a hospital unaware of her surroundings but it's not long before she wakes lucid and the drama begins.
Camden/Kaiden's life is in danger because of the hit called on him by Michael Hearst, Abby's father. Talk about villains, Michael still isn't the worst I've encounterd but he's a close second.
The story unfolds further and all the truths and lies storm in and punch Abby to the ground but the thing I admired most about her was her resilience. She's a badass, both literally and figuratively.
I loved Drew and how protective he was of Abby and I liked Charlie too. Jackson and Sawyer are going as good as ever and Xavier was the perfect stereotypical gay best friend. All in all this was interesting enough though I liked the first book better. Again, this ends in a cliffy that'll make you tear your hair apart! (Unless you have the next book downloaded already in your Kindle like me
